Phony is a magazine & campaign exploring the impostor phenomenon & how it affects women & other minority groups involved with the creative industry disproportionately.
Phony provides a platform for mental health issues to be spoken about openly and refutes the myth that experiencing stress, anxiety, and self-doubt means that you are not cut out for a creative career. The campaign equips creatives with appropriate knowledge and tools to tackle impostor syndrome, while ultimately encouraging confidence and a belief in individuality.
A bold, contemporary, and experimental design approach is used in the campaign, in order to communicate a confident tone that will inspire readers to appreciate their own unique creative processes.
